Greetings.
After using this product (V2.2.7), I've found the need for the following:
1. A timer function for the switched outputs.
Currently, only pulsed, High/Low (by SMS) and scheduled timer functions exist.
Is it possible to add a timer function where the pulsed duration of an output 1 minute ?
(maybe even only one of the outputs, having this as an option on (e.g.) o/p 1 only)
2. There is a need for a 5th input (not a 5th switched output).
Since my company supports local industry as far as possible, we also use the IDS range of products, and these have 5 programmable outputs.
Other imported brands also have in excess of four programmable outputs, and the GSM unit's limitation of 4 does impose restrictions.
3. I see that the printed documentation supplied with V2.2.7 is not available for download.
Please make this available.
Thanks. |

Hi Wizzard,
1. we have a programmable pulse time but that is only up to 8 seconds, we can look at increasing that for you. What you could maybe use in the meantime is the link function. This function links input 4 to output 4 for a certain time period when input1 is triggered. So you could put a physical link from say ouput1 to input4 pulling it high, and put the link time to 60 seconds.
So what would happen is you would sms to pulse output 1, this will pull input 4 high and activate output 4 for 60 seconds (*1234 SYS LINK 60* would be the SMS format to set this option).
What I will look at perhaps is to have an option in the scheduled outputs so that you could sms *1234 SET OUT1 ON*SET OUT1 NOW+1 OFF* to turn it on now, and turn it off in a minute's time.
If your unit is not a current version you can upgrade the software, provided you have a newer unit with a USB port.
2. We are bringing out a new standalone/gate unit this year with modular 8 input and 8 outputs
3. The manual that is available for download will apply to the 2.2.7 software as well, we just played around with the format to make it more readable
Thank-you for you suggestions, we'll try include the feature requests as soon as possible.

Can a gsm voicemail account be configured for the public to access a pre-recorded audio message at no cost? The voicemail should be capable of unlimited simultaneous accesses by sims from same network by dialing a specific number . Caller interactivity is not contemplated. _________________ welcome 2010 |

| Hi cendira as far as i know it is network dependent, not on the device. As far as I remember only the first few seconds are free, so that it doesn't charge you for the call if you wish not to record a voicemail. |
